My Business Cards Are Cooler Than Yours

Seriously, check these puppies out.  Much cooler than yours:

Now unfortunately you can’t get these amazing clear cards for yourself because that would make you a copycat and I would have to hunt you down and break your kneecaps1 but I have found some links where you might be able to find some inspiration to design a concept that might be nearly as incredibly awesome.  Those cards you have been passing around that you printed out on your home computer just aren’t cutting it anymore and it might be time to step it up a notch.

Jessica Wachsman Has It Together

When I’m not busy leading the life of an international playboy and C.I.A operative,1 I like to keep my finger on the pulse of the voice industry.2 Fortunately I seem to get a metric buttload of newsletters keeping me abreast of the latest from other talent.  Occasionally one comes along from a really stellar voice and wearer of cute hats so I feel the need to share.  Voice talent Jess Wachsman, who has worked for Microsoft, Old Navy, Cartoon Network, Pizza Hut, Samsung and a slew of others has one of the best newsletters I’ve seen.  Great branding, links to her fantastic demos (a sample below), a professional layout, the works.  She carries it all over to her website at www.jessicasvoices.com as well.  Really a fantastic presentation.  Be sure to click the link from a sentence or two ago and check it out.

Once you are done moping and hanging your head in shame afterward, get on the ball and improve your own marketing if needed.  Also, be sure to contact her at jess@jessicasvoices.com and ask to be put on her mailing list so you can be reminded monthly how it’s done.  Mention this blog to receive a discount on her emails.

While I’m at it, my buddy Caryn Clark (who is no slouch at branding and presentation herself) has recommended GoDaddy’s mass mailing service as an alternative to the ubiquitous Constant Contact.  I checked it out and it seems pretty cool.3

You could always start a blog too but that would just be stupid.
