Absolutely Hardcore Voiceover Session For BioShock Infinite

Just watch the movie at the link to see one of the most emotional and amazing voiceover sessions I have ever seen.  Actress Courtnee Draper is reduced to tears to get the take.  What a pro.

Note that there is strong language in there that is not safe for work.  Unless you happen to work here.

We are unable to embed the video so go HERE.  Now.

RSVP Now For The Voiceover Mixer (With Interview!)

We are less than a week away from the 2011 New York Voiceover Mixer and the list is filling up fast.  We may have to start turning people away in the next few days so if you are planning on attending you must rsvp by emailing Lindsay and your name must appear on the official guest list.

We certainly don’t want anyone to be left out in the cold but we cannot have gate crashers either so if your name is not on the list you will not be allowed in on the 3rd.

Hardcore, huh?

Go HERE or simply email lindz@voicetalentproductions.com

10 Reasons To Attend The 2011 New York Voiceover Mixer

1. It’s Free

Admission costs have been covered by our sponsors.  Sure, you gotta pay for airfare, hotel and drinks but the rest is free.

2. We Have Raffle Prizes Out The Wazoo

Seriously, my wazoo is killing me.

3. You Need To Network

This is the only opportunity in the world to network and meet with this many voiceover industry people in one place.

4. You Have No Friends

You are bound to find someone, anyone who will put up with your B.S. there.  Heck, I even found a wife at one of these!

5. You Hate Your Liver

I don’t blame you.  There will be ample opportunity to pummel it into submission at the Mixer.

6. You Love Rob Paulsen

Have a thing for the Emmy Award winning star of Pinky and the Brain and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?  Who doesn’t?  Use this opportunity to sign up for his seminar earlier that day.

7. You Need A Coach Or Agent

Harass them there where they cant escape.

8. Christmas Makes You All Warm And Fuzzy

There is no better place in the world than New York during the Holidays.  Check out the windows at Macy’s!  Go ice skating under the tree in Rockefeller Center!  Freeze your ass off!  Good times.

9. You’re A Recluse

This is your chance to pose for the paps and finally get out of your booth for once.  Hobnob with the big shot movers and shakers.  Get out there and be somebody!

10. Erik Sheppard Will Be There

That alone is worth the price of admission (please see #1 above).

Coming To The NYVO Mixer? See Rob Paulsen Live!

This just in: Emmy Award winning voice actor Rob Paulsen of Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fame will be bringing his acclaimed seminar series to New York this December 3rd from 12:00 to 3:00 at the Sheraton Times Square in Manhattan.

The Sheraton is just blocks from Arena where the 2011 New York Voiceover Mixer will be held on the same day and we have allotted plenty of time for visitors to our fair city (or locals) to attend both events.

Rob will be sharing stories from his vast experience as a big shot voice guy, giving real time advice to those hoping to break into the business and guidance to those who have already drank the Kool-Aid.  The word on the street is that there might even be a song or two and Rob is always more than accommodating to those who want autographs so bring your Pinky swag and be the next eBay millionaire!

Oh yeah, and he’s only charging 100 bucks so you have no excuse not to go.

For more information visit Rob’s Site or his Facebook page.  There will be an official page for the NY appearance coming soon, check back here, at the Mixer site or at his links above after the weekend.

Please note this is open for everyone, not just those attending the Mixer although you would be crazy not to go to both.
